BBC News Serbian – BBC News further expanded its reach in Serbia

BBC News Serbian (BBC News na srpskom) digital service has further expanded its reach in Serbia and is now available on two more major news websites: 021 and Juzne Vesti.  News from bbc.com/serbian features among the day’s top stories on both websites, with more stories available via BBC-branded boxes and links to the BBC site.

The news portal 021 is mainly focused on the audience in Serbia’s northern province of Vojvodina while Juzne Vesti serves the country’s southern region. With their independent and accurate content, both news portals have editorial policies that are in line with the BBC’s editorial standards.

The BBC News Serbian Editor, Aleksandra Nikšić, says: “The syndication agreements we have established since the service’s launch earlier this year have been very beneficial for us.  The new collaboration with 021 and Juzne Vesti will help us to focus on a more local level, so we can present our brand and content to local communities throughout Serbia.”

BBC News Serbian delivers exclusive content that contextualises world events for the region – and puts regional developments in a global perspective.  In addition to its website bbc.com/serbian, BBC News Serbian has Twitter and Facebook feeds.

Collaboration with 021 and Juzne Vesti adds to the BBC News Serbian content syndication on B92Danas and Naslovi in Serbia; Kameleon in Bosnia and Herzegovina; and Vijesti in Montenegro.
