KidZania, the Global Indoor Theme Park, recently announced the elevation of Mrs. Sona Mazumdar as the Chief Partnership Officer (CPO) of KidZania India.
Sona brings with her over 18 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry, having worked with industry leaders like Turner International and Sony Entertainment.
Sona joined KidZania in 2012 and has been instrumental in successfully forging partnerships with more than 80 brands, under her role as Director – Strategic Partnerships. Her responsibility encompasses developing and executing strategy to meet the marketing objectives of KidZania’s Brand Partners and to maximize revenue.
Announcing Sona’s appointment, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Director & CEO, KidZania India said, “Sona is an excellent business leader, and I am certain that she will drive growth and innovation with her insights and experience. Along with her contagious energy and passion, Sona will be spearheading a solid long-term future, with both, a company culture and a customer base that will continue to grow”.
Sona has a unique combination of sales, marketing, financial, and product strategy background, and her core strength lies in networking and forging senior level relationships with CXO’s of companies. Prior to KidZania, she held the position of Senior Manager at Turner International where she was identified as one of Turner’s ‘Emerging Leader’s’. She was also one of the youngest employee to take on a regional role at Cartoon Network. She completed her MBA from KJ Somaiya and started her career as an Officer at Times of India.
